Because the SCA is a non-profit organization, all of the positions within the Barony are staffed by volunteer officers. These Baronial officers typically serve for two years (although we welcome anyone who is willing to help, regardless of time available) and assist in keeping the Barony running smoothly. Chirurgeon: Responsible for the medical needs of the Barony, including First Aid as well as organizing the Water Bearers, who provide water for the members of the Barony - a critical function particularly for combatants.
