Welcome to the Barony of Gryphon's Lair, the Ogden, Utah Chapter of the Society of Creative Anachronism
We are a branch of the Kingdom of Artemisia, which covers Utah, Southern Idaho, Montana and a bit of Wyoming.
The Barony of Gryphon's Lair main activities occur primarily in and around Ogden, Utah. Our regional coverage also includes: Layton, Kaysville, West Point, Syarcuse, Clearfield, Roy , Riverdale and down to Bountiful. (Davis, Morgan and Weber counties.)

The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an international organization dedicated to researching and recreating pre-17th Century European history. Membership is open to all those who are interested in the Middle Ages. The SCA is a non-profit educational organization under U.S. Law.
As a collective group, we regularly sponsor medieval oriented events through most of Utah, Southern Idaho, Montana and parts of Colorado and Wyoming that are west of the continental Divide. Local activites also include regular gatherings in which our members practice and enjoy the various medieval activities that interest them.
