Directions: From the north: Take I-15/I-84 southbound toward Ogden. At Exit 340, head
right on the ramp for I-84 East toward Cheyenne. Take Exit 81 and head right on
the ramp for UT-26/Riverdale Road. Bear left onto US-91 North/UT-26/ W
Riverdale Road. Turn right onto UT-60/South 1050 West. Arrive at UT-60/South
1050 West.
From the south: Take Exit 339. Head right on the ramp for UT-26 toward
Riverdale. Turn right onto UT-60/S 1050 West. Arrive at UT-60/S 1050 West.
Site opens: 10:00 AM
Site closes: 8:00 PM
Adult Event Registration is $15; Adult Member Discount Registration is $5. All
attendees under 18 years of age are the guests of the Barony; make checks
payable to “Barony of Gryphon’s Lair, SCA, Inc.”
Exact change is required. Proof of Vaccination or negative COVID test within 72
hours must be shown at gate.

A bright new year dawns in the Barony of Gryphon’s Lair. Their Excellencies, Malatesta
and Sionainn, are greeting this new year in the style of the Land of the Rising
Sun. Don your best Japanese garb and celebrate the culture of this great country
by learning more about it. There will be a games area to try your luck and skill at
the variety of games including Pitch Pot. A schedule of classes and
demonstrations will be available at gate.
Our great Barony is in need of new Champions for Arts and Sciences and the Bardic
Arts. We invite you to finish that amazing project and tune up your singing voice.
Bring your Best Arts & Sciences entry with documentation. As an entry in
Baronial Arts & Sciences, this piece cannot have been previously entered in
Regional or Kingdom Arts & Sciences competitions.
Although the SCA complies with all applicable laws to ensure the health and safety of
our event participants, we cannot eliminate the risk of exposure to infectious
diseases during in-person events. By participating in the in-person events of the
SCA, you acknowledge and accept the potential risks. You agree to take any
additional steps to protect your own health and safety and those under your
control as you believe to be necessary. As a reminder per direction of the Crown,
Masks are required at all indoor events. Masks must be worn at all times, in all
indoor spaces EXCEPT when eating, drinking or fighting. Masks may be
temporarily removed when eating, drinking, or fighting but must be resumed
within a reasonable timeframe.
